The full story: Greg Delpha, Rebuild Field Manager

Central Florida · Meet the Team

Greg Delpha runs the field for the True Builders rebuild department. His path is the classic one: a contractor working at his parents' house asked if he liked building things, handed him a card for the union, and four years of apprenticeship later he was a journeyman. About 19 years in construction took him up through superintendent, and now he is the one hitting the houses, talking to customers, and making sure the crews and subs are doing what they are supposed to be doing.

The reason he is in restoration is on camera too: "You see people that lose a lot, and then you come back and we get to put it back together. You see their faces at the end. To be honest, nothing really beats it."

How a rebuild gets scheduled (and what a field manager checks daily)

A rebuild is a parade of trades that each depend on the one before: framing, then rough plumbing and electrical, then inspection, then drywall, then cabinets, then counters, then flooring and trim and paint. The field manager's job is keeping that parade honest: confirming each phase is genuinely complete before the next trade mobilizes, walking the work against the scope, catching the small miss while it is a one-hour fix instead of a tear-out, and keeping the homeowner informed so the schedule never feels like a mystery. When you hire for a big job, ask who fills this role and how often they are on site; the answer predicts your experience better than any brochure line.
