  we found the water in the dining room area um the break was actually in the kitchen but the water was running to that area so I'd seen some signs and billboards of uh True Builders I reached out to them the one of the workers had explained to me that um they would put in some fans to dry everything out tear everything out that needed to be teared out so there wouldn't be no mold harmful um bacterias in the air and then they would get somebody out here to give me an adjustment of what needed to be done and um and assured me that you know it would be a smooth transition and we will be able to stay here while the process was going on and um to get us back on track and getting back to our normal life once um everything was decided that we were going to go with true we drove over to their Plant City site um where they had a show room we were able to meet with some designers and they went over all the different options and uh upgrades or standard stuff that you would like to put in your home and then we put it we put it together and started the project everything pretty much was a gut um went back and floated the bad spots in the ceilings painted put all new tile down in the basically the whole bottom part of the house put new cabinets in new electrical moved everything new Plumbing in the flooor that busted um it was just a big project and and they were able to tackle it uh the guys that came over were extremely nice um I felt very comfortable with them here my kids and my wife felt very comfortable with them here I would definitely recommend them um for any projects they have it was smooth easy um there wasn't a lot of uh effort into my part there was a good design team a good rebuild team I would just recommend them to any future projects anybody [Music] has

  when we bought this house my whole vision was this 2017 we had a pipe burst in the wall upstairs it flooded all upstairs brought the ceiling down in over here in the laundry room flooded downstairs it was terrible called tree builders they had somebody come out fix it they repaired it i had wood they replaced the wood so then this leak happened march of last year so of course my first thought is i'm calling tree builders it was terrible the wood it was just all bowed up i said that's it i'm not doing wood anymore going back with tile and that's when i said you know what now it's time we've been here for seven years it's time for me to have the kitchen dining room i'm at the house like i want it used to when you would open the door there was a little hallway they converted this bedroom knocked all these walls down i'm actually sitting where a bedroom used to be and made this our dining room now i open my front door and i can see my dining room i can see my living room i can see my kitchen i can see all my beautiful countertops i love my countertops i'm just amazed with my countertops and my floor i will tell you that my neighbor came over and when he opened the front door and walked in he started crying he said lisa it's beautiful they work with you to make it the way you want it and this was my dream and that's the way i wanted it they pulled it off they are so uh meticulous they pay attention to the little details i mean the smallest thing and they're on it you don't have to you don't call them and say um i found this is there any way we can fix it they don't blow you off they're like okay we'll get right on it i can't tell you enough how much i love true builders i can't i'll never use anybody but true builders ever

  Hello everyone. It's time for morning brief and I hope you have your favorite cup of coffee and it smells good. So today I'm going to drink my favorite cup of coffee from True Plumbers's Cup. It says we get poop done coffee. Oh, we That's strong. All right. You ain't going to believe this. I didn't believe it, but it's the truth as can only be told in Malberry, Florida. Fred Gil is 54 and he lives there. He's backing out of his driveway at his house and backs into our victim's vehicle. where the victims get out. It's a man and a woman. And Fred goes back into his house, won't talk to him, won't exchange information. So, they notify the sheriff's office. Our nice deputies arrive. There's two deputies and they're working on the crash investigation and they call Fred outside. And you know what? Fred comes outside and all of a sudden, he drops his drawers and dumps a load. You know what I mean? Right there in front of God, deputies, and victims. That's right. He popped a squat in his front yard and fertilized. Our deputies stared in amazement. They said to theirelves, "Self, have you ever seen any poop like that before?" Then the rascal pulls up his pants, puts his coffee away, goes to the front of his truck, and exposes himself and begins to urinate. That's right. He did that. It was a pissaurus. >> What? >> And then the deputies put him in jail for indecent exposure, disorderly conduct, and gave him some traffic tickets, too. I told you, you can't make this stuff up in Malberry, Florida.

  [Music] and all of a sudden I woke up i sat up smelling and I'm like wow I do smell smoke and I could see like amber in the door and I open the door very little cuz I knew better to open it wide so I opened the door and there was a fire while rushing out of the house my two boys they were trying to put it out with the hose but it it just was exploding in the air from I guess gas and paint that we had I was just numb I just couldn't I said it's just really happening my dream in like you know my home everything that we live for it is all my memories were gone everything was exploding what are we gonna do you know we're not young I just did all these emotions will go until me we had called several different contractors they were just over price we didn't know where to turn so we had gone to my daughter's we were still looking and my dad was looking on the on the Internet so then my daughter says mom I don't know if you want to give this this company are called it's called two builders and she says and they um they do for fire water damage and all this maybe just give them a call to see you know I called them and I spoke to this nice man his name is Aaron and he says I'll meet you there I said really today he says yes I'll meet you there we talked and we talked and he says we can rebuild your house for this amount of money and I'm like no way we had to go through the office in me Isaac the owner and we all sit around the table and he says I will do this and it won't cost me a dime I I just couldn't believe it I was like whoa you know doing exactly the way it was will have some upgrades they didn't have before and I was I was really blessed we were blessed to find two builders I got to go in the office and I get to pick everything that I wanted you know from different one not just one thing they had me there might be like seven pieces of flow or seven types of countertops so it was like and I mean they made it so easy and they had colors for me to choose from it was like wow that was exciting for me because I just couldn't believe that I was going to get this because I'm not from all the other contractors so I walked in the door and I just started crying because it was so beautiful two-minute the kitchen was like the colors I wanted everything it was better than before I'm in the flooring I got I got all the stains still count I know I'm refrigerate everything I wanted the cabinets were upgraded it was just so so beautiful and in warm it was a one feeling nothing they made it more they made it like home again and then Isaac came he had I think I'd like five albums of pitches memories that they had cleaning them and put them in or kind of like an order they took their time to Bennett had to take a lot of time it took their time to put each one in the folder just everything was brand new I have a brand new home down a brand new home for the rest of my life and two builders made it happen [Music] you [Music]

  my name is Kelsey Burchette and this is my wife Teri we were all in the living room watching TV kind of getting ready to call it a night to head for bed Terry started smelling smoke we got up to see what was going on and we found the whole garage in blazes [Music] [Music] no I thought that it would probably have to be completely torn down and completely rebuilt but tree builders has proven themself the amazing and the work that they can do it's really gorgeous the way it all ties together it all has kind of a central theme we we really like that and as you're going through the rooms it all just seems to really tied together I like the openness of the kitchen now I love the choices and the countertops and the lighting fixtures and all the tile throughout it all blends and it's all light and airy it's not dark or it feels like there's new life we couldn't afford with a better group of people there's just I don't think there's any company out there that could match the quality of the work and the quality of the care that we receive through builders I think after a disaster like this you find yourself kind of falling and not really knowing you know you're reaching out trying to find something that you can grab on to and we were lucky enough to have found true lovers true builders that they were able to help us through this process and got us into a great position right now everything right down to the smallest detail has really been has been met and and it looks just so great because of it we know they're dedicated to the jobs they're doing and I'd tell anybody that true plumbers true builders as late ago 100% agree every little detail that we asked for in the home that you remodeled was done and then even extras in this home you've gone above and beyond to make it more beautiful than it was when we lived there and I will continue to tell people to use tree builders like I have been over the last year [Music]

  i just think if i didn't choose true builders i would have to find all of the individual companies and deal with the insurance company and i probably would have lost my mind i needed true builder services when my kitchen drain was very slow and they came in and it was caused by a collapsed pipe and after they chopped up all the floor through my laundry room and my bathrooms i thought the worst was over and i had a flood in my whole house for my toilet breaking true builders then came in and demoed my entire kitchen they replaced all the pipes that were in the floor they came in and quickly replaced my kitchen my bathroom and my master bath i heard about tree builders from driving by their office every day on i-4 they have a huge um new office my experience with tree builders was awesome they came in and they met my family they met and played with my dogs the guys at tree builders every one of them were terrific they were very conscientious they were professional they were always keeping in contact with me when they would be arriving at the house they just worked really hard and tried to stay out of my way and were very accommodating from the beginning aaron would tell me that even though this was a disaster that it was an opportunity and it would definitely look good at the end at that time i couldn't see it i had no kitchen i had barely any bathroom i am very pleased and i love the way that my kitchen looks now in my bathrooms and now i know what they were telling me all this time i'm very grateful for true builders emily and erica at the office took care of everything for me they dealt with um all of the aspects of sending them pictures giving them the estimates i just think if i didn't choose true builders i would have to find all of the individual companies and deal with the insurance company and i probably would have lost my mind i would definitely recommend true builder i have already recommended true builders to a lot of my friends and family it was just a really nice experience that i didn't have to go and pick out or find other companies like a plumber a builder deal with the insurance company tree builders was the one that handled everything

  i remember early on mike telling me you know trust the process you know we'll get you there before you know it you're gonna have a great house back in july our dishwasher died and uh so when we brought in the repair guy he basically told us he couldn't fix it because it had a hole in the bottom and was leaking all over the place so that's when we contacted drew builder and had them come out and mitigate the water damage well by then there was enough water damage that we decided we needed to do cabinet repairs and so we took the next step of we're going to repair cabinets and then basically added to it as we went because it became cabinets then became the whole kitchen then it became flooring and i mean it just kind of kept growing from there as far as the list of things that we did our neighbors next door had their kitchen redone by true builders um within the previous year and so when we had been talking to them about having to redo our kitchen they had mentioned shoe builders and they had a great experience so we went ahead and called your builders i remember early on mike telling me you know trust the process you know we'll get you there before you know it you're gonna have a great house there are a lot of things i like about the completed project um i love my island um i love my floors the floors are amazing and i like them a lot but i absolutely love my kitchen i think they did great i mean i i kind of you know feel like it was you know definitely meet or exceed expectations yeah i would definitely recommend them um you know part for me i would say is just that just the the friendliness um the the feel of you know family in a sense because you know they they they treat the house like it's their house you know and they really want to to make sure it ends up being what we wanted and did whatever they could to make that happen so yeah i would definitely recommend them you

  well we wanted to do a kitchen remodel I was started looking around in the springtime and we came across the crew builders and the staff and we went ahead and went forward this was a pretty major remodel where we took the walls out and there's actually balsam Closet in here and they've really open it up this space our project entailed taking out the wall and the existing kitchen that was here and all we wanted to open I like the feeling one of the nice things that they did was their design was they added and Drybar behind me and that gave us some extra storage because we did sneak out a lot of cabinet space in the first from the original kitchen but as you can see they've done the floors tied together and it's really turned out nice and really huge a lot of space well the process started with Josh coming out as and helping us get a design he brought us a couple different designs in which we chose and then was turned over to the true builder and through with Dean and Aaron and the whole staff who really came in here and brought us step by step we were able to pick out cabinets and do the granite and a lot of those accessories right at their location and it just made it really easy for the whole process I think that they're really easy to work with it really easy to get a hold of they make sure they touch base and follow up throughout the process and any time we had questions or needed them to come back out to explain something or we had changes that we kind of wanted to discuss they were very open and very helpful with that I would highly recommend true builders for any sort of remodeling or restoration projects again [Music] you [Music]

  we are the horners i am lori this is my husband bob and we use true builders to do the kitchen in our house and the flooring in our entire house actually they were a referral from a friend of our daughters when when josh came out we had things in common between his children and my grandchildren and we were we kind of connected that way we didn't have to go to two different places or contract out like the floors and the kitchen so we knew it was all inclusive and we could get it done first impressions to builders team was absolutely professional friendly accommodating helpful i can't say enough about how great they were what i liked the best was i had no problem talking to the guys and say hey give me give me a little hand here just kind of like family like dealing with the with the kids and saying hey come on we're all in this together the communication was awesome this is a 23 year old house now and our room looks like the brand new kitchen open rooms with our high ceilings while it hasn't added any square footage it's added square footage to our lifestyle all the extra cabinets that i have now because of the window decker the window make being made into cabinets and just all the other cabinets because we we did all this from drawings i have recommended them we have to our to our neighbors our we've had our neighbors over um they all want the name we've given who did this yeah we've given referrals yes if we have another project we will always we'll call true builders first well we won't call anybody else actually you

  the quality of work with true builders is phenomenal [Music] what caused us to need true builder services was when we bought this house i absolutely hated the kitchen it almost kept us from buying we lived with it for three and a half years and decided enough is enough we had five different contractors give us estimates and we narrowed it down to two builders and another one in the end true builders was the better deal we had a massive renovation done we originally just wanted to redo the kitchen we ended up moving the kitchen where the kitchen is now used to be a living room then we also had tree builders put in a little outdoor kitchen with a sink and a refrigerator and everything out there for we heard about tree builders because we um we just did a google search home renovations near me we started out contractors near me and a lot of the contractors we called wouldn't touch it because there's so much new construction so then we started switching for home renovations home remodeling and that's how we found tree builders i would definitely recommend true builders josh darling did a really great job of coming up you know with what we were envisioning chris goad the plumber he's incredible he does he does great work dean and the cabinet guys kyle and cody they're they do excellent work the quality of work with true builders is phenomenal

  i was very impressed with how from the very top to the very bottom they took great effort in making this process so great i needed tree builders to come in to redo my kitchen and update everything to make it more modern to make my laundry room match as it's adjacent to my kitchen so i needed everything to have a little bit of a face lift i heard about tree builders through my husband and it was a no-brainer to use true builders through the process my experience with true builders was great everyone from a to z took great effort making it seamless and everybody was so polite and making this such a nice project to be a part of and the outcome was just amazing my favorite part about this completed project would be the ice maker which is amazing i have the wine cooler which is beautiful when the light is on i have the colors of the kitchen make it so modern now my laundry room matches which is amazing and then the detail that the true builders put on the side of the cabinets makes it just such an upgraded look i would absolutely recommend true builders to anyone that i know to get anything done with their house it was such a wonderful experience and i can't wait for them to in the future redo other parts of my house my bathrooms and stuff you

  oh i was a secretary and bookkeeper at mulberry first assembly for 25 years and under pastor dan and so we would i knew them i watched isaac grew up it was the original bathroom in 1950s so it was time and i also i needed that tub taken out and a walk-in shower put in first step was the they came out and looked it over with the job i went into the office and i met josh oh he's a great guy he knew what he was doing he knew he knew his products and and he had some good ideas and i told him what i liked the colors i liked and so he brought some stuff out of the showroom and brought it out and it was perfect we went down to the frame i mean to the studs we wiped out walls we ripped out ceiling everything was down to the studs what i liked about it truthfully was the fact that i didn't have to try to subcontract anything i wasn't over it i just turned it over to true builders under their umbrella they took care of everything i don't think you could have sent any better people than what i had on that bathroom they all worked very well they were very pleasant and from from sales from start to finish you know it was very pleasing so [Music] with more than i could have ever hoped for really because it looks like a 21st century bathroom i don't like it i love it it's just beautiful oh my shower's wonderful i turn it on and just get in it and every morning and night usually because it's uh it's so relaxing on the muscles i called and i got the windows got all new windows put in my house as well would i recommend true builders of course i've had a pleasant experience and i felt like i got a good deal and and they were out to do the best job they could do and i recommend them because i trust them you know and i think anybody can trust them

  um Adrienne Holliday from Tampa Florida we initially called to plumbers because we thought we had what we thought was a simple leak and once the guys came out to take a look at the leak it turned out to be a major insurance claim so right from the very beginning we just had water damage everywhere and so as a result we they assisted us with the process from calling the insurance company all the way down to lining things up the process was relatively simple everyone that we had an opportunity to work with from the p.m. all the way down to the guys that did the work were courteous very professional um timely they did the things that they said they were going to do and it was just a joy to work with everybody on the team um one of the things that I really really liked about working with the company was just I guess ease abuse they did a lot of the little things that I didn't know about and just um took a lot of the stress off or the hassle off my plate like dealing with my insurance company or or dealing with our financial institution for a mortgage so that was great what I liked the most about our bathroom is just um I guess the the quality of work so you see horror stories all the time about people paying for something and not getting what they paid for so I think we got that and a whole lot more and we initially were just gonna get the the shower replace but then I got to talking to Erin and we were saying you know what is that you're gonna be fixing the shower you know why not just take this opportunity and let's do the whole thing because how often do you get to remodel a bathroom so we just decided to go ahead and do everything at once so in addition to getting the shower done which was the initial plan we got the cabinet's replaced we got the floors redone and change the color in the bathroom I am a true believer and you and you get what you pay for you're not the most expensive you're not the cheapest but if you want a quality end product then I would definitely recommend you we have some other stuff in the bathroom that we'd like to get done a little later in the year and we will definitely be calling true polish back to kind of complete the rest of the changes that we want to have done so I would definitely recommend you and we will definitely be using you again in the future [Music]

  I'm Josh Darlin with True. We're here at the Martin residence and [music] one of my favorite things about this project was that they are dear friends of ours. So when he called and he said, "I got a flood coming in from [music] the rain. I came out and did an assessment of the house. We got our mitigation team out here right away and we were [music] able to get equipment in there, cut out the wet drywall, cut out the wet insulation and get the master bathroom [music] and the closet area dried out so that there wasn't any mold or further damage. We were [music] able to do a better assessment after the storm and find out that the tile roof had been damaged [music] from the storm. A lot of those damages led to that roof completely needing to be replaced. In this case, [music and singing] it was the area right above their master closet and then the area on the back side of the roof that also affected [music] the damaging the ceiling in the kitchen and the dining room area. The interior damage is completely repaired and as you [music] can see, it's beautiful. This roof will last for years [singing] and even decades. >> [music]

  now this is full water probably goes throughout so you know this literally happened about an hour hour and a half ago response time we're already here you're supposed to get to work [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] okay so here we are at the brown residence two nights ago I want to talk in the morning they had a pretty much count of stroke water damage due to water supply line in the toilet affected the whole house they came home around 12:30 notice water coming out of the garage treat others responded within an hour and did water extraction today we're at day three the house is almost dry but we're still in the middle of the process a lot of equipment is in the house a lot of furnitures been moved around and the floorings been removed so we still have some work to do take you for a walk inside to show you where we are [Music] so here's where the homeowner found the water coming out of his house from the garage the garage here when it down the drive went into the street this was ground zero was to the left yet all guitars and equipment on [Music] whole bunch of equipment in here we probably have about 35 fins inside the house right now in about four or five dehumidifiers trying it out once the equipment's done each job will remove the equipment usually on day three or four depending on the severity once the equipment gets removed we'll clean up the property try to get it into a workable condition but then the repo process will begin [Music]

us more about what they specialize in our owners Issac Turpin and Mark Lee very good morning gentlemen so let's talk about this I love the backstory of you guys this started mark is actually childhood best friends essentially yeah we grew up together we're best friends dads are both ministers mm-hmm then teamed up from there start our own company and you're still best friends right that says a lot let's talk about this I mentioned that one of the fastest growing companies you guys were just recently awarded one of the the fastest and the what Inc 5000 actually brought us onto the list which is a huge honor we were we were excited about that fastest growing in Central Florida company so yeah congratulations we'll talk a little bit about what it is because the business as I think most do they evolved a little bit over the years as you see kind of what people need what the service is you realize hey we're kind of working together here one of the things that we like that we do is we take a disaster situation that most people aren't in that they're just doing a remodel only that's kind of planned out what we specialize in is the ones that you didn't plan when you come home in your house as flooded out or there's a hole in your roof or your house caught on fire and we take care of that it's kind of evolved to doing it from start to finish from taking it from the disaster it's cleaning right before you get to Lakeland area Plant City right off I four right there right after dinosaur world ok let's get back to storms though because again this is a big part of what you guys actually have experienced out of state as well because that's where the need is sometimes but talk about kind of what you're able to do in the middle of a disaster as you said actually some of the first work storm work we did was out of state we went to New York we had some families in church own property up there that got damaged and it's a long way to travel but nobody could get to him for months and so we we put together a team and when we've gone several places all over there about Harvey cuz you guys here in Texas we were in Texas currently when the storm hit here locally so we had to pick up our guys from that point and get them back as quick as possible because this is just some of the the homes and things that you guys oh man the people there have four foot of water in their homes so you know you see people cleaning up their baby books and pictures of p-n has that been in the family for you know a long time they were trying to restore them and clean them up it's really sad well and I we just saw a team photo there as well but people have to feel good and again from what I understand customer service and the ratings that you guys have I mean you're literally getting people's lives back together service is a big news for us that's I think that's what we pride ourself on if you go to Google type us in either true plumbers or true builders you'll see our ratings and we pride ourselves on that since we are locally owned and operated word-of-mouth is everything and how you treat your people that's says a lot about your business well and one of the reasons you guys are so successful as well as the tools that you guys are using kind of the latest technology we have to talk about this bad boy right here what on earth is this this is an infrared camera so if you have it let's say your roof leak during the storm and you got water coming in it doesn't necessarily mean that where the water is coming in is where the leak is so we use this camera right here so you would typically use this on the wall or trying to figure out where the hotspots are yeah sorry so it's reading temperature and we're trying to find moisture so if you know if your roof leaked and the leaks you know 20 foot down from where the water is coming in we can trace it all the way back and find out where it's actually there's actually something pretty unique that not all companies a lot of companies don't provide this but this is something that we pride ourselves because then we know what areas are affected and not affected yeah we used to stay our technology for everything that we do the one thing you want to do is fix a leak only fix it once and get it right well cuz mold we haven't even touched on this huge problem here in the Bay Area's climate it's hot so usually if you have a leak and that water sits underneath your floors and you don't get to it it'll grow mold timing is of the essence yes I know we have some other before-and-after pictures before we get ready to close here but what we want people to really know about true builders and what you guys were able to do here I think that we focus more on the customer because we know that in the long run that the results will be there so we focus more on the customer I know what their needs are staying good communication and they provide a service as fast as possible and we just want to tell everybody the storms are   I'm Isaac Turpin I'm originally from O'Berry Florida my name is Marc Luber and I'm born and raised Winter Haven Florida Oh my parents great great people ministers my mom and dad our assembly guy pastors and pastor Church him in Mulberry Florida for almost 20 years just recently moved down to the Sarasota area England they took a church over there it's thriving booming my whole family is involved my parents are actually ministers and grew up all my life in church and my parents believed strongly in doing what's right for others and not necessarily to bring a profit and so we grew up in a business but a non profit business so that's that's how I knew it to be is helped people regardless of how bad of a situation it puts you in financially my parents pastored a church so a lot of people think that church is you know it's just you know ministry and all this kind of stuff but is a hundred percent of business as well I mean you have a light bill you have a mortgage and you have a family that you have to take care of so it's just magnified in in doing ministry so right away is being a young child I learned the ins and outs of how to deal with people you know and people's problems and creating a solution for that and that's carried over into business I grew up remembering that you're only as good as the person you can help and putting yourself in a position to where you can you can do something for somebody maybe maybe a little thing to you but it could be a huge impact for that person as they go through life sometimes people never forget that the thing you did for them in the position you put them in to to better their life one of my first experiences that my mom said that my mom and dad talked about the light well we did he was gonna do business I wasn't allowed to fly of course I had chores that I had to do you know you know a lot of play until these chores are done and one of them was mowing the grass and where I grew up with a big yard so my friends came over like hey we want to play you know everybody was allowed to play it I'm like I can't talk mowed the grass so what I did is I enrolled all my friends I said hey listen you have a lawn mower you have a lot more and you have a lot more if you guys bring your lawn mowers over and we all start cutting the same time we'll have this done in like 20 minutes and I can play it right away a good idea so I got all my friends out there mowing with me I'm bringing them I'm not even mowing and my mom comes in and she's mad at me and she's like you cannot have the mother kids more than our grass that is so embarrassed in my dad's I uh you know if he can if he can enroll them him Oh in the grass I don't care how it gets done just as long as my grass is mowed and it's still a story that we tell the day we kind of laugh about how that's carried over and into my life I think my first work experience was I went to Hungry Howie's Pizza and went in there and said hey I'm a cook I can do it I'm you know fifteen years old and they said sure no problem give you the job I was like super impressed happy I came back the next day and they had this big costume they want me to put on it was like a pizza guy's costume they told me to go out by the street wear the costume and I was like no you know I can't do that and he said you know if you don't do that you don't have the job so I had to make a decision at 15 is what am I willing to do to work and to provide and at 15 I got out there and danced around and I noticed that while I was out there I thought about it as a positive and said if I'm doing this and getting paid then this is this is what my life could be as long as I enjoy myself that it's not necessarily working you're just having fun and getting paid we have a mutual friend I guess we would call him our best friend moved to Melbourne Florida when about nine eight ninth grade and immediately became best friends with him his name's Dustin Whitney and every day I would hear oh my gosh man I'm so glad that we met you're just like my old friend you guys talk same you do the same things like I'm so glad I mention because I was heartbroken moving away and so I thank God for you because you know he would tell me all this stuff and of course we had a little jokey pic oh my gosh you're just like him I'm like no no he's just like me you know and now my there's nobody like me you met the better of her you know and all this kind of stuff not having met Marc at all just you know hearing things through Dustin about how much we were like and we met we were about 15 years old Dustin had a like a get-together at his house and Marc came over to the area and instantly you know we kind of hit it off and just been friends ever since I actually met Isaac years back we had a mutual best friend and I got a chance to go out there and hang with Isaac I felt a lot of jealousy with Isaac cuz we shared a same mutual best friend so seeing him do things was always like well I can one-up him and I can shoot basketball better or I can do this better it was always a competition at the beginning just to outperformed for our mutual best friend as time grew our friendship grew as well our best friend actually ended up moving away and left us in a position to where we wondered why somebody could be so close to each one of us maybe we had a bond that we weren't aware of and that friendship was there all along and it was a super close bond with me and him always that what started out to be competition ended up being a way to promote each other and say man you're better than this you can do this pushing it and driving each other which is what ultimately drove us to our success is constantly being behind each other pushing each other to the next level you know me and Mark did multiple sales jobs together and you know this fad this fad telecommunications was a big one doing the the cell phone industry right when it was just not everybody had cell phones I was coming from you know pagers and a you know Nokia phones the old black phones and we got into that that market there and doing telecommunications and instantly realize we kind of we kind of had a gift and took a store that was I think number 63 in the state and we took it with an having the store for three or four months we took it to be in the number one store in a state and realized pretty quickly that we had a good niche for for doing sales and just doing business together and in we were though ideas off each other and how's this work and we just started doing that for life you know just one of those people that you can always pick up the phone and no matter where we were at in life we could kind of just pick it right back up and throw ideas off each other we always pushed each other there's no saying that you know iron sharpens iron and it's the truth you know a little bit of competition a little bit of hey I think you do this and I see this and and we just thought we weren't well together and so initially the business was just honestly just a way to to let's make some money I mean he's got a family out of here we got a let's just we got to pay some bills you know and hey this could work and this could work and and it was just something that we were doing just you know honestly just to make some money but we have really big dreams we did and and we saw that money is just a very small aspect of business I mean there's a lot of different ways to make money and you know so we started building a business together you know we start say hey this is something that's real this isn't just you know hey I made it I made 300 a major you know it wasn't that it's like this is this is a real thing here and we can we can kill two birds with one stone we can make a living and provide for our families and we can help people which is really at the core of who we are I think at the very beginning our whole plan was to do something to where we felt like we were helping somebody else we felt like both of our jobs were great jobs but we were alone in those jobs and we were able to help anybody so we got into a situation where we felt like we could get to be a part of our friends lifes and help families and the initial approach was let's just get enough to pay our bills and make ends meet and if we can help families in the process and hang out with our friends it's a win-win so moving forward that was our expectation is to grow this company as the ability to just provide for our own families and we took it from there I believe in this company number one is because of who uh who I'm doing it with the staff that we have and because of the the principle that's behind it you know we never grew up neither one of us said you know hey I want to be a plumber or hey you know when you're in school like what do you want to be I never raised my hand like I want to be a contractor you know it's never was was the goal or the or the dream what it was was how can I do something where I can use my talents where I can use my abilities where I can help people and make a living and through this business I've been able to do all four of those things I provide for my family we have a fantastic team here that we work with every single day and you know and there's there's motivation and there's a self-development and there's just you know there's a fan the atmosphere that's kind of what we brought into this business and that believes over into our customers and so these people that that call us to do work for them they may be in a real crisis with their with their property something can be really really minor that we fix and we've done jobs where people's lives have you know the houses are burnt down everything that they have is gone you know in an hour to span and it's so rewarding to come in and you know take over somebody's house that is is devastated and doesn't know what to do doesn't know who to trust here in a million different stories about you know this guy this guy this guy who do I use and to take them and say listen we care about you and we care about your house and we care about your home your life not just you know not just turning a profit and we take them from a disaster situation and really take it hand-in-hand with them take that project on and get to see it all the way to the end that's become super rewarding for us is to know that we are not only doing business that we're you know we're helping people you know and it's so it's rewarding we started this company we made our mind up that we're not the boss that God's our boss and when we classify ourselves as owners at the end of the day God owns this company we're just employees for him so we know it's gonna succeed because as long as we put him first and all that we do all these things that we want and desire will be added unto us and we know that if we continue to work under those principles that it's in God's hands you know that's a that's a tough question because obviously you know first of all the cliches come up is I want to be remembered as a good person as a you know and as a caring and giving person somebody that inspired people you know I want to leave a legacy I want my children to have something that they say home you know my dad built this you know all those things even though they're cliche they're the truth I want to be remembered as somebody who helped people somebody who inspired people somebody who built something that inspires other people that they can do the same if I can make it anybody can make it you know so that's what I want to be remembered I think I wanna be remembered as someone who not only made the changes in my personal life in my business life too to improve but to make changes in other people I don't want to just go through life knowing that it was all about me I want to make sure that what I'm doing impacts others gives them an opportunity to believe in their self and know that they can make it you know sometimes people don't have the greatest upbringings or the greatest starts in life but at any age and no matter what you've been through that the options are endless the book is is white it's your page to write and I think I want to be remembered as somebody that constantly reminds people that there's a better life you know to always improve always make your own story don't let anybody else determine your future you make your own decision the best is yet to come okay so first of all whenever I'm looking to bring somebody on board is work ethic is a really big deal in our in our generation right now you got to have the work ethic I mean my dad Mark's dad used to we you know we talk about it we joke about it now but they taught us how to work you're gonna work you know nothing's given to you and that's been a principle that we carry over into into the into our lives is that you're not own anything in this life and you got to go get it so we look for people that are not afraid to go get what they feel like they deserve you know not afraid to work hard we're looking for people that want to be better than they are right now that's a big thing so whenever we're trying to hire somebody we're not necessarily looking at skill set although that is important but skills can be taught but I can't teach work ethic I can't teach attitude so those are the things that we look for people that want to be better and that will jump on board with us and that we can help build something together I'm looking for somebody that's willing to get out of their comfort zone we feel like we have a rare thing that we can teach people and help them grow and somebody's just willing to learn willing to put the work in and and whatever it takes to improve their self and better their self because it isn't just about what happens at that nine-to-five it's what happens at their personal life and personal development so we want to see them grow in all aspects of their life we want to see them improve in all aspects so if we can get the ceiling off of them and show them that there's more to come than just what they thought they've known and help them on the unknown if they allow us to do that have the work ethic to back it up I think that that's the kind of guys that we're looking for in the future
